Our distant learning courses are accepted for continuing education credit for addiction counselors, as set forth by the NMCTPB.

NMCTPD requires 6 hours of ethics for all counselor recertifying, and 3 hours of supervision coursework for all supervisors.

NMCTPD accepts up to 276 hours of our distant learning courses for initial licensure. Please be sure to check Board regulations regarding specific content requirements for initial licensure.
Note: The board may approve, on a case-by-case basis, applicants whose education is not a counseling related field, and education and training to include 276 clock hours in the following areas:
(a) 90 hours in the field of alcohol abuse
(b) 90 hours in the field of drug abuse
(c) 90 hours in the field of counseling
(d) 6 hours that pertain specifically to alcohol and drug counseling ethics training

Psychoanalytic CE is a service of CE Learning Systems LLC. CE Learning Systems is approved to offer continuing educations courses by NAADAC (#410) and many ICRC certification boards. CE Learning Systems LLC maintains responsibility for the courses.

Cycle: Renewal every 2 years
Next Renewal: Sep 30, 2013
Total Credit Requirement: 40 credits required; 12 may be earned with Psychoanalytic CE.
