New Mexico Board of Psychologist Examiners
General Information
Psychoanalytic CE’s distant learning courses meet qualifications for continuing education credit for psychologists as set forth by the New Mexico Board of Psychologist Examiners.
40 credit hours every two years by June 30th.
25 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
4 credit hours must include attention to cultural diversity.
5 credit hours must pertain to ethics. (Please select courses with the word “Ethics” in the title)
Psychoanalytic CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. CE-credit.com maintains responsibility for this program and its content. No provider number is listed because the APA does not issue a provider number.

Special Requirements for New Mexico Board of Psychologist Examiners

Requirement: Cultural Diversity, 4 credit hours
Four (4) CPE credit hours in any of the three categories shall include attention to cultural diversity as specifically noted in the title, description of objectives, or curriculum of the presentation, symposium, workshop, seminar, or course. The topic of the presentation, symposium, workshop, seminar, or course need not be on cultural competence; however one of the objectives or the description of topics covered must clearly indicate attention to cultural competence, as deemed satisfactory to the board.
We do not yet offer courses to fulfill this requirement.

Requirement: Ethics, 5 credit hours
Five (5) credits will pertain to courses containing attention to the ethics of practice related to psychology. The topic of presentation, symposium, workshop, seminar, or course need be on ethics and the objectives or the description of topics covered must clearly indicate attention to ethics as deemed satisfactory to the board.
