General Information

Our distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for addiction counselors, as set forth by the ICAADA.

Initial Certification
ICAADA allows 30 hours of distant learning for initial certification requirements. 6 hours are required in ethics or mental health law and 6 hours are required in HIV/AIDS training. Please see ICAADA website for further details regarding specific content requirements.

Recertification
ICAADA requires that 20 hours for recertification be substance abuse specific. Please be aware of these requirements when selecting courses on this site.

Psychoanalytic CE is a service of CE Learning Systems LLC. CE Learning Systems is approved to offer continuing educations courses by NAADAC (#410), and many ICRC certification boards. CE Learning Systems LLC maintains responsibility for the courses.

Cycle: Renewal every 2 years
Total Credit Requirement: 40 credits required; All 40 may be earned with Psychoanalytic CE.
